Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the Work Item Twins extension ("Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

Work Item Twins is an Azure DevOps extension that enables:

• Creation of linked "twin" work items across projects
• Automatic synchronization of fields between twin work items
• Configuration of synchronization rules and field exclusions
• Integration with Azure DevOps work item workflows

3. Subscription and Pricing

• Free Trial: New users receive a 7-day free trial period with full functionality
• Subscription: After the trial period, a paid subscription is required ($999/year per organization)
• Billing: Subscriptions are billed annually in advance
• Payment: Payments are processed securely through Stripe

4. License Grant

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, Innova Apps grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Install and use the Extension within your Azure DevOps organization
• Access the Extension's features during your active subscription period

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Extension only for its intended purpose
• Maintain the security of your Azure DevOps credentials
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Extension
• Not use the Extension for any unlawful purpose
• Ensure appropriate permissions before creating twin relationships

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Extension is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Extension, you acknowledge that:

• The Extension accesses work item data to provide synchronization functionality
• Twin configuration data is stored within your Azure DevOps organization
• Subscription data is stored in our secure cloud infrastructure

7. Intellectual Property

The Extension and all associated intellectual property rights remain the exclusive property of Innova Apps. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use Innova Apps trademarks, logos, or branding.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. INNOVA APPS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING:

• MERCHANTABILITY
• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• NON-INFRINGEMENT
• ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF RESULTS

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INNOVA APPS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Any damages exceeding the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Extension depends on Azure DevOps APIs, which may experience outages or changes outside our control.

11. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
• Update pricing with 30 days advance notice
• Change these Terms at any time (continued use constitutes acceptance)

12. Termination

• By You: You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it
• By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms
• Effect: Upon termination, your license to use the Extension ends immediately

13. Refund Policy

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we may offer refunds at our discretion for:

• Technical issues preventing use of the Extension
• Requests made within 14 days of initial purchase

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
